Top freakin' notch show. The Duke Spirit was excellent, besides being from my favorite city, London. Can't say anything bad about them at all, only good.

BRMC was killer. 2nd time we've seen them, and my old lady and I totally loved it. Really loud, good venue, good sound- just a true representation of how good they are. And damn, they are one of the best bands around. Wish more bands like that came through Charlotte.

I will echo Zenbaum's sentiments about the strobes, though at some point they either calmed down on them or I adjusted. But even when blinding it gave me an excuse to close my eyes and just feel the music.

4 Stars for the show out of four.

I'm a total BRMC novice compared to the uber-fans,but here goes...
The venue was great-300-400 people.Duke Spirit was amazing-their sound was on point-deifinetly a band that shines way more live than studio.
We were right up front on Peter's monitor, and honestly BRMC's sound was not great, but they still kicked ass.I don't know if it was my location, cause the Dukes sounded fine.Set started w/666,Berlin(could hardly hear ANY bass).Starsgoblue needs to help me fill in the set list. When Robbie & Peter switch sides,Robbie introduced a new song-sounded to me like the Cramps-it f'n rocked.Anyone know what its called?Tryin to remember what else-they did fault line, shuffle, ain't no,6 barrell, spread yer luv, punk song,am x,all u do is talk, loan, air.Poncho guy came out and played for a song,Peter did some solo stuff.Mercy was on the set list but they didn't play it.
We got to meet Peter after-he signed a KOL/BRMC silk screen tour poster for me& posed for a pic-he was really gracious. My husband is a music snob(BRMC is just ok to him)but he did give Peter some props-Said Peter was a cool guitarist cause he can make just his one guitar sound like two.peace

The place was at full capacity. A lot of energy between the band and the crowd. One of the highlights was Peter playing piano. He did, " Feel It Now". I don't think I have ever seen him do that before or play piano live...maybe on the Howl tour??
Great to see the club packed to see the guys.
Another highlight was Robert doing "Window".
